SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The following are a listing of topic genres we acknowledge to be of prominent industry interest. Please use this list as a guideline when submitting your abstract; further emphasizing that the presentation be structured within a case study or white paper format identitying future trends and lessons learned.

*NOTE: Any type of vendor product or marketing pitch will not be considered or selected.

AUDIENCE
iTech dedicates itself to delivering qualified buyers to the tradeshow floor from all buying segments such as: Enterprise, SMB, Government, Channel, and even within specific vertical market segments such as education, public sector, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and more.

Presentation Formats Keynote Sessions (50-minutes) - addresses all attendees and should have broad industry appeal Concurrent Sessions (50-minutes) - a more in-depth topic focus that accomodates for Q&A Panel Discussions (50 minutes) - sessions with one announced theme and a list of participants who address that theme but do not present separate formal papers.

SELECTION CRITERIA
The Program Committee will review all presentations - selection will be based on the following criteria:

    • Topic & relevance to the conference theme and delegate base
    • Focus on future trends and lessons learned (what worked AND what didn't) and recommended solutions to common issues
    • Concise statement of the benefits of your presentation to attendees (e.g. how will this help them in their work application)
    • Speaker's expertise, knowledge and ability to challenge delegates
    • Presentation experience of speaker
    • Research findings are welcome, provided the session is aimed at practitioners and balanced with sufficient practical information (i.e. 'here's how this can be applied to .....')
    • Absence of commercial sales content for services or products

CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE
All Submissions Must be ON-LINE. Submissions received by E-mail, Fax or Hardcopy will not be accepted.

SPEAKER RESPONSIBILITIES
Speakers will be responsible for all other expenses including travel, non-sponsored meals and miscellaneous charges.

Produced and owned by Diversified Business Communications Canada, the iTech Infrastructure Technology Summit is the premier annual event series that addresses the rapid growth and user implementation of data center management and all the technologies surrounding it. The conference program features speakers from many sectors of the IT industry and provides excellent opportunities for training and networking with experts within the IT infrastructure community.
